Seattle To Hawaii And Guam - Sailing Crew Needed.

I need 2 or 3 sailing crew for Seattle to Hawaii and on to Guam. I will depart from Seattle/Port Angeles on or about 1 September and leave the boat in Guam. The boat is a 42 ft Cheoy Lee, well outfitted and solid. I am expecting to allow 2 months for the trip to Guam including 10 days port time in Hawaii for refitting and repair.

Temporary closure of Durban Port

As a prelude to planning for for the widening of the Durban Port Entrance Channel, it is necessary to close the channel to undertake geotechnical drilling. We have been advised that the port closure for geotechnical drilling to be carried out have been scheduled on the following dates, weather permitting: 14th/15th of October

21st/22nd of October

28th/29th of October

Yacht Moquini tragedy, official finding.

The sailing yacht Moquini which went missing during the Mauritius to Durban yacht race a year ago and lost all crew has been examined and the official report has been announced.
